CASE STUDY – CONTEMPORARY BESPOKE KITCHEN

Contemporary Bespoke Kitchen Case Studies

Mr LR had a large kitchen which had enough space to include a “living zone”.His present kitchen was set around four walls and was problematic to use efficiently. We decided to use the long back wall to house the sink and appliances and add an island to the centre of the room with a table area, this was out of the cooking zone yet still sociable.

The curves of the back of the island and the table gave interest to an otherwise rectangular room and the dropped and curved ceiling not only housed the ceiling extractor but mirrored the curves below.Cabinetry is a slab matt painted door enhanced the rich beauty of the walnut used on the back of the island and the table. Steel grey granite worktops blended with walnut to the returns completed this stylish design. The remainder of the room was to be used for the “living zone” with a sofa and coffee table.

CLIENTS COMMENTS

“Having consulted a couple of local companies with a view to replacing my dated kitchen I was becoming disillusioned with the whole process. Thelma on the other hand was a breath of fresh air. She actually listened to what I was trying to achieve and then quietly set about designing my dream kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and no problem insurmountable. Thelma is the consummate professional and I can’t recommend her highly enough”

CASE STUDY – SHORT ON SPACE

Answering the phone to a bubbly voice the other end I was told “I’ve got a small kitchen and need to get a lot in it, do you work miracles?”

At our consultation meeting the list appeared – integrated fridge freezer, integrated washing machine, integrated dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor. Glancing around the tiny space we had I noticed that there was a cupboard that ran under the stairs which would prove to be useful. You will see from the plan how cramped we were for space.

CLIENTS COMMENTS

“I love the kitchen so much I don’t want to use it. Thank you for a great job – and we came in on budget even with my tiles!”
